A custom build, also known as a custom home or a bespoke home, is a type of construction project in which you as the homeowner work with your architect or draft person to design and build a home tailored to your specific needs and desires. As the homeowner you have control over the design and the builder takes control over the construction process. This allows you to create a unique home that reflects your personal style and meets your specific needs. Custom builds include planning to meet the required BAL ratings and Eco-efficiency standards and cover redesign, planning, demolition and rebuild.

A home extension is a renovation project in which you as the homeowner adds additional living space to your existing home. This can include adding rooms, expanding existing rooms, or creating new outdoor living areas. Home extensions can be used to add square metres, update the home’s layout, or improve its overall functionality. Home extensions can be as simple as adding a deck or as complex as building a complete second story. The purpose of a home extension is to provide you as the homeowners with additional living space to meet your growing needs and improve the overall value of your home.
